Epson MicroPiezo ® AMC printing technology

The new printers fully meet these requirements with Epson technologies – the new piezoelectric MicroPiezo ® AMC ™ technology, variable – size drip printing technology, and active Meniscus Control (AMC ™ ) technology-combined with superior image quality, high reliability, and high print speed.

Thanks to piezoelectric printing technology, full control is carried out over the drop pushed onto the paper under the influence of an electric pulse, and at the same time the appearance of satellite drops that could spoil the print is impossible. In addition, high resolution, small drop size, and precise drop shape are achieved.

Epson UltraChrome K3 ™ Vivid Magenta ink technology

Epson UltraChrome ™ K3 Vivid Magenta ink is a new generation of eight – color pigment inks that set the standard for professional printing-both color and black and white.

Black-and-white printing technology

Advanced black and White print mode is Epson’s unique rasterization and color management technology for monochrome images. This mode uses all the features of the three neutral hue cartridges to produce professional black-and-white prints, even from color files or grayscale files. The result is absolutely clean black-and-white prints without the slightest color deviations.

Two replaceable black ink cartridges for different tasks

The Epson UltraChrome ™ K3 and UltraChrome ™ K3 Vivid Magenta cartridge kit includes two black cartridges for optical density-optimized printing on different media. Standard black (Photo Black) can be used for all types of media and get a professional print. However, for a number of special media, such as Velvet Fine Art, Enhanced Matte, and UltraSmooth Fine Art, using an optional Matte black ink cartridge will significantly increase the optical density of black for best results.

This cartridge is installed in the same slot as the standard black one.

Standard interfaces

Standard interfaces are high-speed USB 2.0 and 10/100 BaseT Ethernet network interfaces. Macintosh and Windows operating systems of various versions are supported by standard printer drivers.

Automatic head alignment technology

Automatic head alignment technology is standard on all Epson Stylus Pro Series printers. A built-in sensor ensures precise positioning of the print head and automatic alignment. At the same time, it is possible to simultaneously print in two directions, depending on the priority of quality or speed.
