You can control the ES-200 via the supplied software or via the scanner control panel, which consists of 3 buttons-power, stop (cancel) and start and 3 indicators: error, automatic feed mode and ready indicator. Also on the front panel is a switch for automatic document submission and plastic card scanning modes. You need to insert the cards into the slot from which the scanned documents usually come out. The ES-200 connects to a PC via a USB 3.0 cable.
The scanning speed of the ES-200 is 25 pages in simplex mode and 50 pages in duplex mode.
The ES-200 features software that saves both images and PDF files very quickly. It takes 47 seconds to scan and process a 20-page document .
