The Epson L605 MFP is a very unusual model from the “Print Factory” category. It is a compact 3-in-1 novelty designed for office use. Here is a very original design of the CISS donors, which are part of the case and are not removed, although visually they seem to hang in the air. Each inkwell has corks attached to it, so you won’t lose them or mix them up. There is another interesting detail: if you want to be sure that no one else fills or drains the ink without your consent, you can install locks on the containers.
The model is designed for large print volumes. The volume of the black tank is twice as large as that of the colored ones-140 and 70 ml, respectively. The plume for black paint is also slightly thicker. The manufacturer claims that one filling is enough to create 6000 impressions.
Features of the equipment:
- Produces 13 black-and-white and 7 color A4 pages per minute. For a 10×15 cm photo in draft mode, it will take 69 seconds.
- Can print on both sides of the sheet in auto mode.
- The resolution is 4800×1200 pixels.
The scanning module makes high-precision copies and supports a resolution of 1200×2400 dpi. An important plus of the Epson L605 is a convenient control panel with a monochrome LCD screen of 5.6-cm diagonal.
With regard to the connection options, the choice here is pleasing: there is USB, Wi-Fi Direct and Ethernet. Printing from mobile gadgets and cloud services is supported.
The loading tray is located frontally, accommodates up to 150 sheets of office paper. The maximum density is 250 g / m2. There is also an output tray designed for 30 prints. The manufacturer guarantees successful operation for 12 months and promises 50 thousand prints.
Although the model has only 4 basic colors, the result of photo printing is very decent. The quality of the images will probably suit you, but you will have to manually remove the margins on the printed photos.
