The Epson Stylus Photo R2880 is the perfect printer for photographers,artists, designers, and even professional photo labs. The printer uses the same technology of printing with Epson UltraChrome K3 Vivid Magenta ink as in the large-format printers of the Stylus Pro series, focused on large production volumes. This way, you get a great result on a more compact printer with less cost.

The Epson Stylus Photo R2880 professional photo printer uses an eight-color printing system. In addition to the standard 6 CMYKL cLm colors (black, Cyan, magenta, yellow, light magenta, light cyan), the printer uses additional colors: gray (LK) and light gray (LLK). When printing on matte media, the regular black ink cartridge (PK) is replaced with a matte black (MK) to ensure optimal black color display (the ink in the matte black cartridge has a high optical density).

Thanks to the Epson UltraChrome K3 Vivid Magenta pigment ink with neutral inks: black, gray and light gray, the EpsonStylus Photo R2880 printer allows you to get great color and black-and-white photos. You will be able to print your work on various types of media with consistently high quality.

Gray and light gray inks allow you to achieve high-quality results when printing black-and-white photos. A special mode in the printer driver allows you to precisely control the shades of monochrome images to produce effects such as sepia, etc.

The wide color gamut allows you to print color photos even with the most intense shades of red, green and blue. Light-colored ink provides a high-quality reproduction of body tones and drawings made in watercolor, pastel or pencil, with surprisingly smooth transitions from one color to another.
