The Epson Perfection V300 Photo scanner is a typical version of the “tablet”, able to work as much as possible with the A4 format. In contrast to the current trends in rounding, the Epson Perfection V300 Photo scanner is made in the strict form of an almost regular parallelepiped, except that the lid is slightly curved and, due to the possibility of installing a slide module, is slightly thicker than the standard one. In the coating of the device there is no “gloss”, which without compromising the appearance makes it more practical in terms of use.

In the Epson Perfection V300 Photo scanner, there are 4 “quick response” buttons: turn on, scan with subsequent transmission by e-mail, transfer to a PDF file, and quick print. The Quick print button turns the scanner into a regular copier.

The most important feature of the Epson Perfection V300 Photo scanner is the ability to work with the slide module. The module is able to take 4 slides of 35 mm and 6 frames of film of the same format at a time.

It is necessary to note several interesting features that this model supports, namely

• reduction of grain size;
• removal of dust traces;
• restore color;
• automated auto-exposure;
• sharpen with noise reduction;
• delete the raster with document optimization;
• adjust the tone curves using the histogram.

There are two connectors for power and the only possible USB 2.0 interface, respectively.
