Epson Perfection V850 Pro and provide professional quality and high productivity in working with a wide range of films, including 35 mm film and slides, medium format and 9×12 cm format.
Epson Perfection V800 Photo is equipped with two lenses that allow you to scan originals with a large optical resolution-6400dpi for film and 4800dpi for photos. The device automatically selects the necessary lens in each case. The high optical density of 4.0 DMax allows the scanner to accurately reproduce a wide range of shades, especially in darkened areas of the originals.
The improved design of the film holders allows users to adjust the height of the holder more precisely, thus adjusting the position of the focus point and achieving greater clarity. The new holders are also equipped with special plates that press the film against the glass and help to avoid the appearance of Newton’s rings when scanning.
The device is equipped with Digital ICE technology, which helps to get rid of various defects during scanning — dust, hairs, scratches, fingerprints, bends, etc. — helping users to save time on manual retouching. ICE technology uses a combination of infrared radiation and sophisticated algorithms to detect and remove film defects.
The high productivity of the scanner is provided by the Epson ReadyScan LED technology, thanks to which the device warms up in less than a minute and is instantly ready to start scanning. LED light sources practically do not heat up during operation and are therefore completely safe for the most delicate materials. The Epson ReadyScan LED also contributes to a significant reduction in power consumption.
