The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C5790 is a new MFP for small and medium-sized offices with network connectivity, high load – up to 45,000 travelers per month and low cost of ownership.
One of the distinctive features of the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C5790DWF is the use of high-capacity ink containers instead of traditional ink cartridges. The resource of the containers is 10,000 black-and-white prints and 5,000 color prints. The use of such an ink supply system allows you to significantly reduce the cost of printing and the total cost of ownership of the device, making the Epson WorkForce ProWF-C5790DWF one of the most economical MFPs in the color printing market.
The only consumables that need to be replaced in these devices are the ink containers and the waste ink container.Unlike laser devices, the Epson WorkForce ProWF-C5790 design does not have photo drums, thermal caps, or various image transfer units, which allows you to significantly save on the maintenance of these devices.

The service life of this print head is equal to the service life of the device itself. The print head does not require additional maintenance and is designed to serve properly throughout the entire service life of the device.
In addition, the new Epson PrecisionCore printhead supports Automatic Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT) status check and clogged nozzle compensation to prevent streaking when continuously printing a series of documents.
Print Quality
Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C5790 uses the unique Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment ink. Specially designed for printing on plain paper, Epson pigment ink allows you to get bright and rich color prints. The structure of DURABrite Ultra ink is different from that of water-soluble ink. The pigment particles in DURABrite Ultra ink are enclosed in a polymer shell that protects them from external influences. Prints instantly dry out, are resistant to fading, the image will not smudge even when highlighted with a marker or water gets in.
Unlike water-soluble ink, the pigment does not penetrate the fibers of the paper, but lies on the surface of the sheet. Thanks to this, when printing on plain paper, the image does not show through on the back side, which allows you to print from both sides of the sheet.
Another important property of the pigment is that the pigment does not fall off the paper during long-term storage, as is often the case with toner for laser devices. Pigment ink is recommended for printing documents for archival storage, for example, in the public sector.
