Driver Epson WF M5799

The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-M5799 is an all-in-one monochrome inkjet printer designed for small and medium-sized offices and workgroups.

The WF-M5799 is a single-pass automatic document feeder (ADF) with a single-pass automatic duplex (50 sheets) of legal size that allows you to copy, scan, and fax multi-page double-sided documents without having to turn the originals manually.

The WF-M5799 holds 330 sheets, divided between a 250-sheet slide-out tray and an 80-sheet multi-purpose tray that slides out from the back of the case. You can increase this to 830 sheets by adding an additional 500-sheet tray. The WF-M5799’s maximum monthly duty cycle is a whopping 45,000 pages, but its recommended monthly print volume is a few meager 2,500 pages.

The panel consists of several buttons for setting up and performing functions, pinned to a large 4.3-inch touch screen that provides quick and easy access to configuration settings, reports, connection settings, security, and more.

But what sets this WF-M5799 apart from the competition is that it uses ink instead of toner. It features the Replaceable Ink Pack System, which uses aluminum bags filled with ink rather than cartridges.

The WF-M5799 comes with a full set of standard connectivity options, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, single PC connectivity via USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi Direct. In addition to Wi-Fi Direct, you get several other mobile printing solutions through a suite of apps (Epson Email Print, Epson iPrint Mobile App, and Epson Remote Print) called Epson Connect. You also get third-party support through Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Amazon Fire OS. And, when nothing else helps, you can print or scan to a USB flash drive via the port located on the left side of the case.
