Next, the process gets a little more complicated. You will need to install the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone: it is available for Android, iOS, MacOS and Windows 10. For Windows 7, you need to separately download the drivers from HP’s official site. We tested the printer with a Windows 10 laptop, and the setup with HP Smart failed several times at the stage of adding a wireless printer. In the process, the MFP printed out information about its IP address and other network parameters on its own – but the application stubbornly “didn’t see” it.
The device uses original HP 653 Ink Advantage cartridges. Black costs about 1100 rubles, and color – 1450.
Like all inkjet models, the printing and copying speed of this MFP is modest. In black and white printing, the device produces up to 10 pages per minute, in color – 7 prints per minute. With this b / w cartridge will suffice for about 360 pages, and color – depending on the number of images on the page. Up to 200 prints can be made in color at 5% capacity.
